Explore measured comparison

Coming soon. Beta signup and downloads are not open.

Windows & Android · Local-first range records · Optional private sync

ONE NOTEBOOK. BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD.

Factory Ammo vs Handload.
Your measured results, together.

Bring completed factory-ammo and handload sessions into one comparison, with recorded group measurements, chronograph statistics and environment data in view.

FACTORY AMMO

Keep the product in context

A private catalog connects product identity and lot notes to your saved rifle and test history.

HANDLOAD

Keep the batch in context

Your batch record connects rifle and component details to the observations saved during its session.

Compare recorded observations, with the context behind each result. Measurements describe individual tests; they do not establish a universal best choice or certify ammunition safety.

INSIDE THE CURRENT DEVELOPMENT BUILD · 1.0.0+4

Your records.
A clearer picture.

01 / PREPARE

A place for the setup

Save reusable Rifle Profiles and a component library for bullets, brass, primers and powders. Record handload batches, mark them Ready to Test and carry their details into Active Sessions.

02 / MEASURE

More than a group size

Enter measured chronograph velocities to see shot count, average velocity, population SD and extreme spread. Record temperature, pressure, humidity, density altitude and wind. Target photos support manually marked measurements of group size, MOA and MRAD, with Android camera capture and image import. Manual target-result entry is also available.

03 / COMPARE

Factory meets handload

Keep a private Factory Ammo catalog with product identity and lot notes. Start factory-ammo tests with a saved rifle, then compare completed factory and handload sessions side by side in Results & History using your own measured observations.

04 / KEEP

Ready when the signal isn’t

Rifles, catalogs, batches, range observations, target measurements and history stay usable offline without an account. Active Sessions save progress locally so you can pause and resume. Complete a session to revisit its shots, conditions and targets in Results & History.

05 / SYNC

Private stays private

Use Account & Sync to explicitly sync private records and target images between your devices with the same account. Sync needs internet access and never publishes to Community. Independent edits on multiple devices pause sync on a conflict; they do not automatically merge.

06 / COMMUNITY

Share with context

Explore Community posts and share measured performance with signed-in members. Optional profiles include a handle, bio and firearm details you choose to share. Posts and profiles start private: preview your submission, give explicit sharing consent and submit for moderator review. Edits require fresh review. Members can report posts and block authors.

EXPLORE COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE

Match My Rifle

Explore community-submitted factory-ammo performance from similar rifle configurations.

Data is user-submitted, not manufacturer verified. Results vary by firearm, ammunition lot, conditions and test method.

Community performance data is User-submitted · Not verified and not manufacturer verified. Results vary by firearm, ammunition lot, conditions and test method. Moderator approval checks Community rules; it does not verify performance, certify safety or recommend ammunition. Reloading Lab records observations and does not generate untested loads. Follow current published manufacturer guidance; app records are not a substitute for it.

BUILT FOR WINDOWS & ANDROID

Taking shape. Still in active development.

The current 1.0.0+4 development build brings these features together. Reliability, interface refinement and broader device testing remain active work; features and screens may change before release.

Google Play testing and release access are not open through this site. There are no public downloads or beta applications at this time. Community and private sync require internet access. An iPhone release is not currently available.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT BUILD

Questions, answered.

Can I sign up or download the app now?

No. Public beta applications and downloads are closed. We will update this site once Google Play testing is ready and active, with confirmed access details.

Is the app finished?

No. Reloading Lab is actively in development. This site describes the current 1.0.0+4 feature set; reliability, usability and device testing continue. Features and screens may change, and no release date has been announced.

Is this only for handload records?

No. Factory Ammo has its own catalog and testing records. Completed factory-ammo and handload sessions can appear together in measured comparisons in Results & History.

Which platforms are being developed?

Windows and Android. An iPhone release is not currently available. Public package and store links will be added only when release access is confirmed.

Does it work at the range without a signal?

The core range notebook is local-first: rifle and component records, batches, Active Sessions, targets and history work offline. Account services, private sync and Community require internet access.

Are my records automatically shared?

No. Records are private by default. Optional private sync does not publish to Community. Community profiles and posts require explicit submission and moderator review before becoming visible to signed-in members. Members can report posts and block authors.

Are measurements captured automatically?

Chronograph and environment observations are entered manually. Target-photo measurements use manually marked impacts. Live device connections, automatic weather lookup and automatic impact detection are not current features.

What does Match My Rifle show?

Community-submitted factory-ammo performance from similar rifle configurations. Data is user-submitted, not manufacturer verified. Results vary by firearm, ammunition lot, conditions and test method. Moderator review does not certify performance or safety.

What limitations remain in the development build?

Completed sessions cannot currently be reopened for active editing, and saved handload batch drafts do not yet have a reopening screen. Data export and a backup/restore screen are not available. Private sync is not a versioned backup and does not merge conflicts.

How can I ask a question or request deletion of previous signup information?

Use Contact / Feedback below for questions, suggestions or privacy requests. It remains available while beta signup is closed. Sending feedback does not apply for beta access or join a waitlist.
