IN THE CURRENT APP

Your records.
A clearer picture.

01 / PREPARE

A place for the setup

Reuse rifle and component profiles. Create a handload batch, mark it Ready to Test and carry its details into an active session.

02 / MEASURE

More than a group size

Record chronograph shots, AVG, SD and ES alongside environmental conditions. Save target photos with manually marked impacts, or enter target measurements directly.

03 / COMPARE

Factory meets handload

Keep a private Factory Ammo catalog, test a product with your rifle and compare Factory Ammo and handload sessions using the results you actually measured.

04 / KEEP

Ready when the signal isn’t

The core range workflow works offline without an account. Save and resume active sessions, then revisit completed tests in Results & History.

05 / SYNC

Private stays private

Optional Account & Sync lets you explicitly sync private records between your devices. Sharing to Community is a separate choice; private records are not automatically published.

06 / COMMUNITY BETA

Share with context

Join moderated discussions and share measured performance with signed-in members. Create an optional forum-style profile with a handle, bio and selected firearm details. Profiles and submissions require review before members can see them.

Community content is User-submitted · Not verified. Moderator approval is a review against Community rules, not verification of performance. The app records and compares measured results; it does not recommend untested powder charges.

A FOUNDATION FOR WHAT COMES NEXT

Built with future performance search in mind.

The approved Community data foundation is ready to support a future searchable performance website. Public web search is not available today, and anonymous access remains disabled.

SMALL GROUP. USEFUL FEEDBACK.

Help build a better
range notebook.

We’re looking for Android testers who will try the app in real use and tell us what gets in the way.

This is an early private beta. Bugs and interface changes are expected. Applying does not automatically grant Google Play access.

  1. You apply.
  2. The beta team reviews your application.
  3. Approved Google accounts receive a private Play opt-in link.

ONCE YOU’RE APPROVED

Your first test session.

Install through Google Play

  1. Open the private opt-in link the beta team sends you.
  2. Sign in with the same Google account you used on your application.
  3. Join the test, then follow the Google Play installation link.
  4. Install updates from Google Play. If access is unavailable, confirm your selected account with the beta team.

Keep a separate copy of important notes during the early beta. If you have an older sideloaded beta, do not uninstall it to fix an update error before checking with the beta team about preserving your records.

Short tester checklist

  • Create a rifle, components and an ammo batch, or add a Factory Ammo product to your catalog.
  • Follow Ready to Test → Active Session → Complete → Results & History.
  • Enter chronograph and environment data; close and reopen the app to check it saved.
  • Take a target photo; try autofocus and tap-to-focus, mark impacts, save and reopen.
  • Try manual target entry.
  • Compare completed Factory Ammo and handload sessions using measured results.
  • If you opt into Community, try a profile draft and review the submission preview.
  • Report crashes, confusing steps and anything missing or saved incorrectly.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

Beta FAQ

Who can join?

This first round is for selected Android testers. A Google account used with Google Play is required. You don’t need to be a reloader to apply.

Does signing up give me the download?

No. The beta team reviews applications and adds approved Google-account emails to the closed test. The invitation link alone does not grant access to an unapproved account.

Is the app finished?

No. We’re testing reliability and usability, especially saving records, camera behavior and the complete range workflow. Features and screens may change.

Can I use an iPhone?

This tester round is for Android. iOS and TestFlight are future work; no iPhone release is available. Windows is also supported for private desktop use.

What equipment do I need?

Your Android phone and a willingness to give useful feedback. A chronograph or Kestrel is not required; the application asks about them to understand testers’ workflows.

How do I leave or request deletion of my signup information?

Leave the test from the Google Play opt-in page. Use the contact and feedback form below to ask the beta team to remove your beta signup information.
