SMALL GROUP. USEFUL FEEDBACK.

Help build a better
range notebook.

We’re looking for Android testers who will try the app in real use and tell us what gets in the way.

This is an early private beta. Bugs and interface changes are expected. Applying does not automatically grant Google Play access.

  1. You apply.
  2. Stephen reviews your application.
  3. Approved Google accounts receive a private Play opt-in link.

ONCE YOU’RE APPROVED

Your first test session.

Install through Google Play

  1. Open the private opt-in link Stephen sends you.
  2. Sign in with the same Google account you used on your application.
  3. Join the test, then follow the Google Play installation link.
  4. Install updates from Google Play. If access is unavailable, confirm your selected account with Stephen.

Keep a separate copy of important notes during the early beta. If you have an older sideloaded beta, do not uninstall it to fix an update error before checking with Stephen about preserving your records.

Short tester checklist

  • Create a rifle, components and an ammo batch.
  • Follow Ready to Test → Active Session → Complete → Results & History.
  • Enter chronograph and environment data; close and reopen the app to check it saved.
  • Take a target photo; try autofocus and tap-to-focus, mark impacts, save and reopen.
  • Try manual target entry.
  • Compare two completed sessions.
  • Report crashes, confusing steps and anything missing or saved incorrectly.

Beta FAQ

Who can join?

This first round is for selected Android testers. A Google account used with Google Play is required. You don’t need to be a reloader to apply.

Does signing up give me the download?

No. Stephen reviews applications and adds approved Google-account emails to the closed test. The invitation link alone does not grant access to an unapproved account.

Is the app finished?

No. We’re testing reliability and usability, especially saving records, camera behavior and the complete range workflow. Features and screens may change.

Can I use an iPhone?

This beta is Android only. There is no iPhone beta signup in this round.

What equipment do I need?

Your Android phone and a willingness to give useful feedback. A chronograph or Kestrel is not required; the application asks about them to understand testers’ workflows.

How do I leave or request deletion of my signup information?

Leave the test from the Google Play opt-in page. Use the contact and feedback form below to ask Stephen to remove your beta signup information.
